Terms of Service
1. Introduction
By enrolling in any Ethio College Prep (ECP) course (in-person or online), you (“Student” or “you”) agree to these Terms of Service. ECP (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides preparatory courses for SAT and college applications as detailed on our Summer Scholarship School program page and in our internal program materials ethiocollegeprep.com.
2. Eligibility and Enrollment
Students must meet any age or prerequisite requirements specified for particular courses. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity limits are reached (e.g., per-location and online section capacities) . To secure a spot, Students must complete registration and pay the required first-round payment by the published registration deadline on ethiocollegeprep.com. Reservation holds expire if the full first-round payment is not received within the stated time frame .
3. Payment Terms
Course fees are published in Ethiopian birr and USD for each package (Standard and Gold) on our website and internal pricing materials ethiocollegeprep.com.
- First-Round Payment: A non-refundable first-round payment is required at enrollment to confirm a seat.
- Second-Round Payment: For Students enrolling with only the first-round payment, a second-round payment is due during the 3rd week of the course. Failure to complete the second payment by the deadline may result in removal from the program and forfeiture of any entitlements (including exam participation and scholarship eligibility) .
- No Refunds: Under no circumstances will ECP provide refunds once payment is made. This applies to withdrawal, non-attendance, failure to complete course requirements, or any dissatisfaction with course content or outcomes. By enrolling, Students acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy unconditionally.
- Payment Methods: Payments may be made in Ethiopian birr or USD via designated bank accounts (Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Awash Bank, Abyssinia Bank) or online methods (PayPal, Zelle) as listed on our website ethiocollegeprep.com.
4. Course Access and Materials
Upon receipt of the required payments, Students receive access to our AI-powered learning platform and course materials as specified by their package on our website. In-person classes occur at designated centers according to published schedules; online classes occur via Google Meet at specified days/times (e.g., evening sessions for online). Students agree to attend scheduled classes, complete diagnostic, practice, and final exams via the platform, and engage with course materials. Academic integrity is required: cheating, plagiarism, or misrepresentation may result in expulsion without refund.
5. Scholarship Award Conditions
At the end of each course, a final exam assesses Students’ progress; the top-scoring Students (e.g., five recipients) receive the SAT scholarship award (full payment of their next SAT exam fee) as advertised ethiocollegeprep.com. Eligibility requires full payment of all fees and active participation in course activities and exams. Scholarship awards are competitive with limited slots; no guarantees beyond published terms.
6. Student Responsibilities
Students must:
- Complete the diagnostic exam promptly upon joining and engage with the AI platform throughout.
- Maintain accurate contact information and respond to ECP communications.

8. Changes and Cancellation
ECP may modify schedules, instructors, or locations due to unforeseen circumstances; Students will be notified and offered reasonable alternatives. If ECP cancels a course before commencement (e.g., due to insufficient enrollment), Students may be offered credit toward a future session; no cash refunds will be issued. Credits or transfers are the sole remedy in cancellation scenarios.
